So I recently visited the Elemis counter in John Lewis Oxford Street and the experience truly revolutionised my skincare routine. This is the first time that I have ever had a facial and I must say that is it very unusual in the middle of a very busy department that you can feel so relaxed but you can. But before they start the facial they take a look at your skin using the Skin Lab which is state of the art technology that maps your skin and shows you many different things and even gives you a 3D skin and facial mapping so that you can really see what is going on in your skin.
After going through my skin analysis we identified that my skin is in pretty good shape however I have a little sun damage on my forehead so using SPF is something I need to do all year round. Also I have a little dehydration around the eye area so now adding an eye cream to my skincare routine is a must to avoid wrinkles forming in the future. After looking at all the data we also concluded that my skin was a mixture of dry and sensitive. So I opted for the Superfood Skin Radiance treatment.
The best things about is that your skin gets a really great cleanse to really prepare your skin for the goodness added into it. The superfood facial wash is just amazing. It feels soothing while really getting in there to cleanse your skin. This product contains Avocado, Broccoli and Pumpkin Seed oils which contain natural probiotics that will help balance the skin microbiome and the Wheatgrass and Kale will leave the complexion looking bright and radiant.
They basically use all the products in the superfood range on your skin so its a great way to try out a brand and see what works for you. I did opt in for the All the Greens skin booster which is light therapy for the skin. It really did leave my skin looking so much brighter and would definitely recommend adding one of the light therapy to your facial.
So I have to say I am loving all the products within the superfoods range and I have started to use the facial oil and day cream. I will update everyone in the new year with how it is going but after the first few days of using these I have seen a huge difference so I can’t wait to see the results.
