This past year I have been taking time to refine my skincare routine and discovering new brands. In this day and age the developments in skincare are incredible and you can literally find products now that suit your needs and don’t cost a fortune. In recent years Japanese skincare has been creating brand new product that focus on skin problems that most products on the market just can’t do. So I was jumping at the bits to try some products from Tatcha. The great thing about Tatcha is that the founder Victoria Tsai suffered with acute dermatitis so she developed a keen awareness of the importance of ingredients on the skin. The same with myself suffering with eczema has made me very aware of what I am putting on my skin and that I tend to stay aware from skincare products that are packed with loads of artificial ingredients and want to go down the more natural route.
So the first product that I am going to try is the The Water Gel. This is generally recommended for Normal to Oily skin. Now usually I have Dry to Sensitive skin. But after a summer of good weather here in the UK, being away and really taking better care of my skin I feel my skin is moving towards the normal bracket. Plus the added fact that Tatcha products use the finest of natural ingredients I am confident that the Water Gel is going to work.
I must say my predictions were spot on. The Water Gel is so lightweight and absorbs in to the skin right away and it keeps your skin hydrated all day so is a perfect base to start especially when you want your makeup to last all day and look flawless. The Water Gel is also great for those who want to reduce the size of pores as the Japanese Wild Rose in the gel will tighten your pores and smooth the skin texture. Now I have only been using this for 3 weeks and I can see and feel a difference in my skin already. So I am excited to see what my skin will be like after a prolonged use.
So I purchased my Tatcha Water Gel in Sephora for $65. At the moment it is not available in the UK but I have a feeling that we will be seeing it this side of the pond very soon.
