Hourglass has to be my joint favourite makeup (I do love a bit of Nars). So when they uploaded a mystery picture a month back of a new product launch I already knew that I was going to invest in it but when they revealed that it was going to be a translucent setting powder I literally died and went to makeup heaven.
If you have tried the Veil Primer you will know how life changing this primer is. It feels hydrating, minimises pores and provides a silky canvas for your foundation to sit on. Not to mention the fact that it waterproofs your foundation with added SPF. So I instantly knew this setting powder was going to be the one (worked out well as I was running out of my old one).
The Veil Translucent Setting Powder is an ultra-refined loose powder which is designed to give the skin a naturally flawless finish and if like me you have the primer and the foundation using all 3 gives you an incredible finish that last all day without any retouching (Just your lipstick). The reason why Hourglass is always on the top of my list for products is that they produce all the range with using fragrance, sulphates, parabens and all the that is a nightmare for people with sensitive skin.

I really like both of them… They both do the job perfectly!!! Laura Mercier is about £7 cheaper so I’d probably stick with the Laura one in terms of value for money!!!
