Huda Beauty…. Winter Solstice

Huda Beauty has really stepped up there game this year with so many product launches. All of which have been a massive hit in my books. Can she do no wrong? So I took a day trip to Paris so and opportunity to visit the Sephora on Champs-Élysées so what better opportunity to go and see the new Huda Beauty collection.

Well I was a little too late to sample everything as the make up artist told me everything has flown off the shelves so I’m going to have to order online the lip strobes which I am slowly falling in love with every instagram post I see. But not all is lost I managed to find the Winter Solstice Highlighter Palette and I literally fell in love.

So first lets discuss this packaging. Every single new product she brings out there is no detail spared and this palette is no exceptions even down to the inner slip. But beyond the packaging lets talk about the product inside. So for £40 at Cult Beauty you get 28.5g of product which is split between 4 highlight colours.  3 x 7.5 g Powder Highlighters Arctic Glow (warm blue multi-tonal illuminator), Northern Lights (holographic highlighter with duo-chrome tones in soft gold and bronze), Winter Rose (dusky pink infused with a shot of silver) and 1 x 6 g Poured Melted Strobe in Frosted Kiss (icy iridescent pink).

There are so many ways you can use this product you can sweep the highlighters over your cheekbones for an instant glow or pop it onto your lids for a pop of colour. The options are endless. The best thing about highlighters is that it is really a multi use tool. I mean just look at the Fenty Highlighters. I actually use them less as a highlighter and more as eyeshadows.

Overall this is a huge hit for me as the possibilities are endless. I will definitely be trying the lip strobes next.
